Realty Capital Management has secured zoning for a 48-acre mixed-use development in Granbury, which will feature lakefront restaurants, retail, a single-family neighborhood, multifamily housing and a lakefront public park.
The incoming development, called Lakeview Landing, boasts 2,000 square feet of lake frontage and is located on Highway 377 in Granbury. According to a news release, the development is planned to break ground in the third quarter of 2022 and will be fully developed by 2026.
“The project offers a premier lakefront location just 45 minutes southwest of Fort Worth,” said Austin Gray, development partner for Realty Capital Management, in a prepared statement. “Granbury is a special place with a strong sense of community. Lakeview Landing will draw on that sense of community to create an exceptional development on the best remaining lakefront site. Our goal is to breathe life into existing retail and energize the area with a variety of lakefront restaurants, shops, and a mix of residential options with prime lake views and private boat slips.”
The incoming lakefront park will host live music events, outdoor activities and open the lake views to the public, Gray said. Planning for the development began in early 2019.
“The City of Granbury has been instrumental in the planning of this project,” said Tim Coltart, managing partner for Realty Capital Management, in a prepared statement. “The city staff, city council, planning and zoning commission and economic development teams have helped us create a plan that will attract visitors and new residents, increase the tax base, and provide a high-quality mix of uses to the City of Granbury.”
Last year, Realty Capital Management and multifamily development company Greystar broke ground on a 38-acre mixed-use development in Keller.
The development, called Keller Center Stage, is located at the intersection of Highway 377 and Mount Gilead Road. The first phase of construction will include 24,000 square feet of commercial space, Greystar’s The Lyric at Keller Center Stage multi-family community and a community lawn that will provide a venue for live music events.
When complete, Keller Center Stage will contain about 60,000 square feet of shops, offices and restaurant space, a single-family neighborhood with 57 patio homes ranging from 2,200 to 2,800 square feet and 475 multi-family residences.
